Piano Pre-Reader

Pre-reader piano arrangements are a quick, easy way to learn an easy Christmas song for the youngest musicians. They include only the melody of the song and are written without a musical staff.

• letters written inside the first note (and any place where a shift is required)
• fingerings given
• simplified rhythms
• minimal movement
• quarter, half, whole, dotted half, and eighth notes
• circles are used to indicate shifting (changing position)
